WHAT IS eSIM

The eSIM technology (Embedded SIM) is a very small, 6x5 mm chip embedded into device by manufacturer. It cannot be just inserted or ejected. The only thing to do is upload new information by scanning a new QR code.

Who needs eSIM

  • Users with several numbers. No need to think about the SIM card format (mini, macro or nano);

  • Those using trackers, laptops and other smart home components such as alarm systems, detectors, cameras, household appliances, etc.

How to obtain eSIM

Contact the corporate sales department for a unique QR code to activate eSIM in device settings.

eSIM activation is FREE OF CHARGE.

How to activate eSIM

  1. Enter Settings on your device;

  2. Choose “Cell Service” or “Mobile Data”;

  3. Press “Add Plan”;

  4. Scan QR code with your device.

Attention!

  • ! Do not disclose your QR code and pin1 and pin2. Save the QR code to restore eSIM or move that to another device.

  • ! eSIM cannot be activated on a device that does not support this technology. eSIM can neither be inserted or added. eSIM support status is indicated in your device specifications.

How to continue using eSIM if the smartphone gets out of order

  • You should activate a new eSIM. The previous eSIM can only be used again if device is reset correctly and eSIM profile removed.

  • To activate or restore eSIM correctly, connect your device to internet via Wi-Fi or mobile data of another eSIM on the device.

  • Not all devices are capable of removing profile correctly. The same profile cannot be used on different devices simultaneously.

How to restore eSIM or move eSIM to a new device without assistance

  • Enter device settings and make complete reset.

  • Up to 10 complete resets are possible for one eSIM.

  • Unfortunately, not all devices support correct eSIM recovery. If you fail to restore eSIM or move eSIM to a new device without assistance, visit an O! Mobile Operator sales and service center or O!Store.
