To comply with regulatory requirements, mobile operators in the Russian Federation have introduced a mandatory 24-hour suspension of data and SMS services for roaming users.
The suspension begins from the subscriber’s first registration in the operator’s network and lasts for 24 hours, after which it is automatically lifted.
If the SIM card is inactive for 3 days after the suspension is lifted, it will be blocked again for 24 hours.
Voice calls are not affected by this restriction and remain available.
