Register a new SIM card through the my o! app and get 200 KGS to your account balance

Since April 1, 2024, when activating new SIM cards, subscribers of all mobile service providers in Kyrgyzstan are required to pass the mandatory registration procedure with their passports as per the new rules issued by the Cabinet of Ministers.

Telecom services will be limited to calls to the mobile provider’s support service until the new SIM card is successfully registered.

The complete access to telecom services is only granted to subscribers registering their numbers with their passports. Registration can be passed online via mobile apps.

1. Insert the SIM card in the smartphone to receive the link for free download of the My O! app;

2. Download and open the app;

3. Enter the new number to which the SMS with code will be sent;

4. Click “Start”;

5. Make photos of the front and the back of your passport and make sure the details entered are correct;

6. Make a selfie with your passport;

7. Create a code word and submit application.

Once the details are verified successfully, you will get full access to all telecom services and your Personal Account, as well as to the O!Dengi e-wallet.

If you fail to register the number without assistance, visit any O!Store with your passport.

Why should the number be linked to passport details?

The SIM card should be linked to the passport to ensure personal data safety, in particular, where the number holder uses it to register with and sign in services such as online banking, portal of electronic government services, business mail, messengers or social media accounts. When registered, the SIM card will protect the personal information from scammers or, if the SIM card is lost, help to restore the number.
