Taking into account the large number of complaints received by its contact center, the O! mobile operator informs that the blocking of non-registered phones’ access to mobile networks is performed by SCNS, the authorized national agency responsible for ensuring national security, acting as the holder of the database of the State Identification System (SIS).
The mobile telecom provider does not block telecom services. Your SIM cards and user numbers remain active and can be used on any registered device. To do so, just insert your SIM card into a mobile phone with IMEI codes already registered with SIS.
If you face the phone blocking problem:
1) try to reboot (turn off and then turn on) the phone. If you at least used one of the phone’s slots before June 25, 2024 (SIS launching date), such slot must be registered automatically.
2) if your was not registered and is blocked now, you can insert your SIM card into a registered phone and complete the paid procedure of registering the blocked device on www.imei.kg (you should enter IMEI codes of all slots of the non-registered device).
3) should you have troubles registering the device, you may visit any O!Store where the company staff will help you fill in the forms and complete registration on the SIS website.
Dial *5656#, use the My O! app or visit www.imei.kg to check your phone’s current SIS registration status
