O!Bank and Kaspi.kz have launched a QR payment service for people of Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan

O!Bank, in collaboration with the Kazakhstan’s fintech leader Kaspi.kz, launched a new service enabling easy payments in the neighboring country – as convenient as at home.
 
People from Kyrgyzstan can now pay for goods and services in Kazakhstan right in the My O! app by just scanning Kaspi QR. No fees – all like in the home country.
In addition, O!Bank clients can now enjoy instant money transfers by phone number to Kaspi.kz – no fees too.
 
Guests from Kazakhstan in Kyrgyzstan can pay via the Kaspi.kz app by just scanning Kyrgyz vendor’s QR.

The new payments solution has been implemented on the basis of ELQR, operator of the Kyrgyzstan’s national QR code standard developed and introduced in cooperation with the Interbank Processing Center.

With the new service, travelers from both countries no longer need to take their cash and bank cards.

All you need is the My O! or Kaspi.kz app you’ve got used to.

Download or upgrade the My O! superapp on Google Play or App Store using any provider’s SIM card in Kyrgyzstan.
