Ensuring cyber security with O!: the Intern Labs program to start soon

As part of its Intern Lab training program, the O! Mobile Operator has announced selection for its free internship Cyber Security 1.0 designed in cooperation with information security practitioners. The program is scheduled for three months, June through August, and includes half-weekly practical classes to be delivered on Tuesdays and Thursdays, 16:00 to 18:00.

The selection process will be held May 12 to 25, and the internship will start on June 6, 2025. You can apply on the project’s website: internlabs.o.kg.

Information security is one of the most fast-growing IT areas. The demand for specialists is consistently high not only in Kyrgyzstan, but also around the world. Companies are looking for people who not only understand theory, but can also apply their knowledge in practice. And this is what Intern Labs Cyber ​​Security 1.0 provides.

Trainees will undergo intensive training on key cyber security topics such as operating system and network security, attack analysis, digital forensics and incident response. The program is aimed at acquiring applied skills in demand in the field of information security and SOC analytics:

·       Operating system protection: how security mechanisms work and what vulnerabilities may arise.

·       Network security: network basics and attack prevention methods.

·       Present-day attacks on corporate networks: classification, action logic.

·       Digital forensics: how to find digital traces and analyze what intruders do.

·       Incident response: what to do when an attack occurs and how to eliminate its consequences.

Each topic will include practical tasks and unsupervised activities which will allow you to apply the acquired knowledge to real cases.

The project is implemented by the O! company, a Kyrgyzstan’s digital giant. Previously, Intern Labs successfully delivered eight internship programs on Backend and QA Automation, with over 200 young experts as graduates. Many of them have already been employed by O!, banks, IT companies, and government structures.
