The O! mobile operator has granted a birch grove to a new school

The O! mobile operator has joined the national campaign Jshyl Murase (Green Heritage) and granted a birch grove to a new school students. The regular urban gardening and improvement event Posadi DerevO! (Plant a Tree) took place the last Saturday at school #102 in the Ak-Ordo urban community.

The future park appeared on the wasteland near the school. A huge work was done: the mobile operator team with the school teachers planted about 100 young birches. An agronomist made sure everything was going right and gave recommendations on taking further care of the trees.

“We decided to plant birches as white color means the beginning of something good. The O! team has supported our initiative, and we highly appreciate that! Our school is quite new, and we are planting our future today!”, said Ainura Ermekova, the headteacher.

It is the fifth garden presented to the city by the company. It has already been several years that fruit and ornamental trees have been in blossom and bringing joy in schools visited by the O! team in the past.

“Trees are critical for cities with high climate like Bishkek. They are crucial for air quality improvement and creating a healthier urban atmosphere. We hope what we are doing will inspire others”, said Maxim Sidorenko, the Commercial Director of the O! Mobile Operator.

The national campaign Jashyl Muras started in 2022 and was initiated by the Kyrgyz Republic President Sadyr Japarov to ensure environmental security and ecology improvement, and save forests for future generations.
